Biography

David Kerr specializes in painting landscape scenes using bold colours and thick textures. He applies the paint in layers with a palette knife. His work is free style and strongly influenced by the Group of Seven and Tom Thomson.

David has had formal training through the Dundas Valley School of Art and has more recently been part of an Art Collective group in Lakefield, Ontario. He has displayed at numerous shows across Ontario over the last 25 years. David has also taught courses and done public demonstrations.
