Biography

Karen deBoer‑Vyboch is an Ontario artist working in acrylic landscapes, animal portraits, and minimalistic watercolour animal studies. Based in the Coldwater region, she draws inspiration from forest paths, waterways, and the rhythms of rural life. Her artistic foundation began in childhood and later included study at York University. Karen has exhibited in the juried 2025 Coldwater Studio Tour, a juried exhibition in Orillia, and participated in regional art events including the Kleinburg Art Walk, and shows in Coldwater and Midland.

Artist Statement

My personal practice centres on landscapes from my hikes and canoe trips in Ontario and travels abroad, while I also create animals pieces that connect with many of my collectors.
