About Us

The Coldwater Studio Tour is one of the longest running art studio tours in Central Ontario. Entering it’s 23rd year in 2025, the tour now focuses on bringing people to the charming village of Coldwater, situated 20 minutes north of Barrie, 2km from Hwy 400.

With an active downtown, excellent restaurants, shopping and sites to visit, Coldwater hosts the annual artists studio tour in both the artists studios, as well as locations easily within walking distance of downtown Coldwater.

View first class artwork, by artists from the area, including acrylic and oil painting, watercolours, photography, woodworking, guitarmakers, wood turners, broom makers, art jewellery, textile artists and mixed media. The artists locations include a century grain mill, now converted to a Museum, the Coldwater Canadiana Museum, featuring an original settlers’ homestead as well as vintage machinery, tools and artifacts. The Legion Hall as well as the Coldwater Community Centre all play host to the artists. Most locations are 100% accessible.
