Biography

I have lived my entire life in the Coldwater area. Naturally trained, with influences from my aunt, Alita Goldman who worked with members of the Group of 7 and taught me for 5 years when she came to the farm in Coldwater when I was a child.   In high school my teachers pushed me to become an artist, however the family farm required my attention.  I eventually went into teaching, but art never left my side.  My sketchbook came with me everywhere, and places that my wife and I visited around the world became subjects for my oils and watercolours as well as brooks, snowbanks and barns from my everyday life. 

I have paintings in galleries and offices around Canada, and have exhibited in many different locations throughout Ontario.
